When it’s blazing outside, the Furrion Chill Cube pushes out 18,000 Btu of cooling power to drop the temperature fast. The whisper-quiet motor runs continuously instead of cycling on and off, so you get steady airflow without the noise spikes that wake you up or drown out conversation. It’s a big upgrade from older rooftop units that always seem to roar when they kick on.
This system cools hard but sips power, pulling only 1,330 watts and 15.5 amps while running. The low-energy eco and gear modes keep things comfortable without taxing your generator or shore power, and the variable fan speeds let you fine-tune output for mild mornings or scorching afternoons. With the new R32 refrigerant that meets 2025 EPA regulations, it stays efficient and compliant for years to come.
Comfort is easy to dial in with the included wall-mount thermostat and remote control. The “Follow Me” function lets the unit adjust cooling based on where the remote sits, so the AC knows where you are instead of just measuring at the ceiling.
The sleek distribution box keeps headroom open inside and fits cleanly with ducted systems. It comes fully matched with the rooftop unit, controller, and thermostat so everything works together out of the box. Designed at only about half an inch tall below the ceiling line, it blends in neatly while keeping airflow balanced through your vents.
The Chill Cube is engineered to hold its own in hot sun, rain, or rough roads. Its aerodynamic housing measures 29" wide x 14-1/2" tall x 29-1/2" deep to cut drag and free up roof space for solar panels or cargo. CSA certification and an IP24 rating mean it’s ready for real-world weather without fussing over every storm cloud that rolls in.

Nice unit very quiet definitely puts out more air. We’ll buy and install more of these for customers.
Fast and easy to work with.. came exactly when they told me it would and it's in perfect shape
Best company I have worked with in many years. Amy was so helpful, and delivered the 2 AC’s in 2 days.
Package arrived in good shape with no damage and the AC is a huge upgrade from my previous unit. Much quieter and more efficient. Super easy install.
I haven't received the ac unit itself.
What a great product! with the help of some of the tutorial videos, the install was easy! The old Thor Jazz 5th wheel I am remodeling has the ducted system, the Chill actually blew so hard dust, and lint blew out of the vents on ECO mode! amazing! Sound was minimal with the vents closed. ordered the thermostat as well but have elected not to use it and will install an upgraded furnace with a separate control.
Fast shipping. Excellent customer service. Paid a professional to install ac so we will see how it works after its done
System works great however I cannot get the thermostat to turn the furnace on
The cooling is amazing, My only complaint is the thermostat doesn’t control my Dometic Heater which requires a separate thermostat for heating
The Furrion is quiet, powerful, blows cold and was physically easy to install. However, to get my propane heater to trigger by the thermostat HEAT mode I ended up adding a rely. The Furrion FURN sends 12V out when called. I used that call to trigger a small relay and closes the loop on my propane heaters two blue wires. It wasn't a lot of fun figuring all of that out, but it works now. No separate thermostat for heat in my RV.
This thing is amazing. Cools my camper super fast and is extremely quiet. Shipping was very fast, was delivered in 3 days.
Great product with fast shipping!!
Got the unit delivered at a time that I was around to receive it. Installed and tested. Unit works great. Nice and quiet, no compressor vibration and low amp draw. Highly recommend.
Arrived in a timely manner. Installation was very straightforward and went without any issues. Unit cools great and so far the energy draw lives up to be as advertised. Only issue I see is that the fan on the unit changes speed during operation as it should but even when temperature is achieved, the fan continuously runs without ever shutting down. This is my only concern with the unit. Seems this would cause premature failure/lifespan with minimal gains by having it constantly circulating. I guess time will tell. I’m giving four stars due to this otherwise it would have been a 5 star review.
This is the best RV AC on the market today. It is quiet and can really cool on hot days. I installed it myself replacing an old AC unit. It only takes 2 people and 2 ladders to lift onto the RV since it is only 74 pounds.
Fast shipping, packaged solid. Easy installation took me about 1.5 hours to do it by myself. Defiantly worth the time and great price. Customer service for ordering was so easy! Kimberly was knowledgeable and a pleasure to converse with. Thank you so much
Unit arrived ups packaging was not damaged. Instructions were easy to follow and installation was a breeze. This unit does not require a 12 volt power supply as the display panel has a plug into the ac unit. The remote is a nice feature and it override's the wall thermostat. I really like how quiet it is even on high settings. Not sure if the furnace will work on the Furrion thermostat as it most likely needs 12 v dc
I received my package super fast, only a couple of days from the time I ordered. I received an email after I received the package to mage sure I was satisfied. I had a couple of questions this weekend as this is when I installed the unit and I got a response on both Saturday and Sunday. I will definitely purchase from ETrailrr again.
AC unit works great and was a simole swap from my old Coleman Mach AC. The thermostat is complete garbage and will not operate my Dometic furnace. If I was to do it again I wouldn’t order the kit with the thermostat and would just use the included remote for the AC and just have a separate heat only thermostat for the furnace. At this point I’m debating only eliminating the Furion thermostat and just doing that, or having two separate thermostats on the wall. Either way I recommend skipping the Furrion thermostat unless you’re very confident that it will operate your furnace
Great fast service. Easy install with great installation videos on Youtube provided by Etrailer. Those helped immensely. Had one little problem that Nick at Etrailer helped solve immediately. Thanks Nick.
The ac itself works great, good thing the remote does too because the thermostat is the worst. I've had 3 different techs, one my brother who built rvs for 10 years, try to connect it and nothing. Blows my furnace fuse every time and e3 error even when they check the wires, and power cycle my whole RV. Buy the ac with the assembly and forget the thermostat, lippert and furrion are of no help when trying to connect thermostat. All they do is send the same instructions in the manual and tell you to connect it to the optional heat pump connector, which is what blows my fuses.
My new Furrion Chill Cube AC unit arrived on time and in good shape.
I installed it this morning, was done in about 6 hours including cleaning up.
I have a Suburban Propane furnace, instead of using a separate thermostat that was recommended, I ordered a small 12 volt relay, with that and the existing wiring will be able to use the Furrion digital wall thermostat for both AC and furnace operation.
Really quite simple, I'm surprise nobody has come up with a small kit to remedy this issue.
When the AC unit was first turned on, both my wife and I were very amazed on how quiet the unit is. That is a game changer with less noise.
Today is a cooler day, we'll have to wait for a sunnier day, which won't be long in the desert of Southern California.

Glad the install went well and you are happy with how quiet it is so far! And thanks for the heads up on getting the thermostat to work with your furnace! We have been struggling with that one as Furrion is a bit reluctant to get it to work with furnaces for some reason. Where are you in the desert? I lived in the Lake Elsinore area from about 1990 till my family moved to San Diego in 2000 so my pops could be closer to work (was quite the drive before we did). Still miss being able to look at a mountain and immediately know which way north is (it's very flat here in Missouri).
Alright here's the deal... This was all delivered very quickly by UPS. Upon unboxing of the unit, it was discovered that at some point, either UPS or overseas shipment, the box was dropped at a rate to damage the upper rear corner of the shroud. etrailer has already worked on a replacement, so in the meantime, the unit was installed.
PROPANE FURNACE USERS (Specifically Dometic) if you are having major issues getting this to control the furnace, please follow my recommendation. First, the 12 volt supply from the wall thermostat converter box? Ignore that. Wires red and green. Don't bother. Why? Simple. This A/C unit will NOT power your wall thermostat if it is not connected to 120 volt (shore/generator/inverter), therefore control of a 12 volt furnace will NOT be possible without 120v. SOLUTION: Connect a CONSTANT 12 volt supply and ground to the wall thermostat. (In my case, I did indeed already have these up in the A/C area from an old Dometic unit, so they were reused.) Now, here's the next step: You may or may not have had TWO wires to control the furnace. If you did, do not use both of them in the two contacts on the wall thermostat. This wall thermostat does not "close the loop" exactly... So, terminate the 12v wire (do not use this for supply either, it WILL bug out and create a condition of the wall thermostat to flicker and kick the furnace on/off/on/off repeatedly). Now, the other wire that will not have voltage, connect this to the terminal FURN (+) behind the wall thermostat. Leave GND unpopulated. Now, the wall thermostat will always be ON as long as you have good batteries, will always control furnace in HEAT mode, and will control the A/C when it is powered by 120v. In ANY other mode than HEAT, you will have an error code on the wall thermostat if the main unit does not have 120v supplied to it. This can be ignored as it does not display in HEAT mode and does not matter in this instance. Also, verify the dip switch position on the back of the wall thermostat. Switch 2, ON for gas furnace. All others off. This will be different if you plan to control heat pumps or strips.
This unit is much quieter, much smoother in operation, and much more efficient than a standard model A/C.
I have not played with the remote as I find it unnecessary and unrefined. The temperature reading on the remote does not sync with the wall thermostat or unit controls.
In summary,
-Decent unit.
-Dometic propane furnace? Connect grounded furnace control wire to FURN (+). Ignore 12v supplied control wire. Connect CONSTANT 12v and ground to wall thermostat, not SWITCHED 12v from converter box to wall thermostat.
Enjoy the unit, integrated with your Dometic furnace.

Wow, thanks for sharing your detailed review and the step by step with how you got it to work with your furnace. I know it will be super helpful to others who are looking at doing the same thing.

One of the 2 air conditioners had a rubbing noise upon initial start. Some quick troubleshooting identified that the fan motor mounts were loose. We were able to resolve this ourselves, but why should we need to. I would think these units would be a little more robust and hope that this was a one-off issue.
Otherwise both units are operating great and are amazingly quiet.
Customer service at etrailer is spot on and without the received quality issue noted above this would have been 5 stars. I will definitely buy from them in the future.
This is the second Chill Cube I’ve installed on my 1997 Class A. The originals were 1500 BTU; the Chill Cubes are 1800 BTU and, even better, dramatically more efficient. Each Chill Cube draws only 490 watts compared with the original units’ 1500 watts. On batteries I can run one wide open for about six hours, or set it to a 50% duty cycle and run for roughly four days. I’ve had one on the RV for over a year with excellent performance, and I was so impressed I replaced the original front A/C with a Chill Cube even though the old unit still worked fine. I also had great customer service from E-Trailer—UPS damaged my unit, and when I reported it they promptly sent a replacement. Highly recommended for anyone wanting more cooling with much lower power use.

That is an awesome setup, and that roof shot really tells the whole story. Getting two Chill Cubes up there on a ’97 Class A like that is no small project, and it looks super clean. Really cool to hear how well they’re performing for you too. Going from those older units down to that kind of power draw is a huge upgrade, especially being able to run comfortably on batteries like that. Those real-world numbers you shared are super helpful. What motorhome is this? it's beautiful!

We have been dealing with the same issue with the thermostat Jared, we have reached out to them a few times as well but have not been able to correct the issue. We have had some customers tell us they have had luck with a universal thermostat. I will let you know when I have more information on what the fix is.
